Our time at Carrick's at Castle Farm was memorable. Beautiful grounds with plenty of space to explore. The bed felt too soft for my comfort. Canoeing opportunities nearby were a highlight of our trip.

We just had a lovely stay. The breakfasts were top-notch, full English was proper lush! The only bummer was the bed being a bit too soft for me. Everything else, from the beautiful grounds to the friendly hosts, was spot on!

The beautiful grounds provided ample space to explore and enjoy. the bed was quite soft, which might not suit everyone's preference. the lack of ventilation in the ensuite bathroom meant that our towels didn't dry well, but this minor inconvenience didn't overshadow the overall charm of our stay.

Beautiful grounds and delightful breakfasts
Our stay was truly delightful. the sprawling grounds were breathtaking, with plenty of space to wander, and we enjoyed generous breakfasts served at a communal dining table, which encouraged conversations with other guests. The room was spacious, comfortable, and the use of the sitting room and kitchen was a lovely touch. The only downside was the softness of the bed, which might not suit everyone's preference.

excellent stay but minor issues
The farmhouse had a stunning location beside a river, surrounded by beautifully blooming flowers. The full English breakfast was my favorite while my husband loved the smoked haddock. Our double room with a garden view was very comfortable, allowing us peaceful nights with just the dawn chorus to wake us.
Occasionally, the sounds from nearby activities could be faintly heard.
